I know that matrix bridging for both slack and discord is pretty good.

Yes, I have been meaning to set up something, but then again I am not sure how many people would actually use it :thinking_face:

Since you could be joined on 3 clients, I'd assume more people haha. 4 if you do IRC as well!

Though of course that doesn't address people asking questions and then never replying like you said. If slack is the best fit, then good. :)

In my mind the biggest minus for slack is that we are on the free plan, which has several drawbacks, the most impactful being that only 10k messages are being kept.
I archive them periodically, so it does not get completely lost, but its not great.

I have been thinking if we could come up with some automation, e.g. Slack -&gt; GitHub Discussions, but unfortunately afaik the gh discussions API is kinda meh still.
