Thanks for the input! I agree that Discord is a great platform. Maybe we can start something smaller thing there, but will have to see if that makes sense and does not split the community too much.

Personally i would say, stick with one or another.
not both, too much to maintain.

I have seen a Discord server with IRC integration, for bi-directional chat, not the greatest user experience :slightly_smiling_face:
but maybe check out the features of discord, a lot has changed in 1 1/2 year.
I bet Ory could get open source server verification, which would give some perks (i can’t remember which)

Slack didn’t want to give us a free plan for the open source community, because we also offer support here and not only focused on development :face_with_rolling_eyes:
I should contact them again and see if we can make something happen though.
