I worked around this by using <http://nip.io|nip.io>

so for example: `<http://127.0.0.1.nip.io:3000>`

<http://nip.io|nip.io> does not work for me, for some reason.

I was was able to set the redirect URLs using the CLI, but I can not edit the client in the Web UI afterwards any more, because saving changes will trigger the same validation error :disappointed:
