Another question regarding billing - how is usage calculated for the OAuth 2 (Hydra) component of Ory Cloud?

Those are the M2M tokens (client credentials grant) , so 10k/1M included and you can buy more if you need.

If your users use the browser self-service flows (auth code grant) through Ory Identities they are counted as MAU instead.

Correct, except that it's Daily Active Users (DAUs), not MAUs, for interactive flows with user present.
