We heard your feedback and are planning on rolling out a change to the link strategy’s verification flow (verification via “magic links”) in the coming days, where we now show a “Confirmation” screen, with a “Continue” button, instead of just the “Email” input with a confirmation message again. The “Continue” button will either lead to your Global default redirect URL, to the Post-Verification Redirect URL if set or to the

return_to

URL, if specified when the flow was created. If you are using magic links for verification (the

link

strategy), are using a custom UI implementation and for some reason are relying on the fact that we return the “email” input node with the flow response again, please update your application accordingly. Please get in touch if this is a concern for you! If you’re using the Ory Account Experience, you don’t have to do anything.
