I think that the problem is that they used their email, let’s say mail@google.com to sign up with google. Now they’re trying to do account recovery for mail@google.com. These are two separate entities in Ory, so the account exists only in the OIDC flavor. What’s the reason for triggering a recovery flow? Did they lose access to their “social” account? If so, then the recovery must be handled through the provider, not through Ory.
