will ory kratos ever going to support search for identities?

It doesn't seem like there is any. There is just <https://www.ory.sh/docs/kratos/reference/api#operation/adminListIdentities|this API> to list all identities, then you'd have to do some search based on that. Unless I'm missing something too. What we'll be doing is put the search behaviour in a service on top of Kratos, so yes there will be some data redundancy.

What are your needs for search? Are you thinking about actual full-text matching and retrieval (potentially with spelling correction etc.), about partial string matching (prefix searches, etc.) or just a lookup by exact matches e.g. on email addresses?

Also a question for fetching all identities. Can we pass in like last updated in param with an allowed date that will only return identites that has been updated greater than the last updated date

I don't think this possible right now, but it'd be a useful addition! would you mind filing a feature request / issue with the details of what you'd need?
