Hello Ross, the OTP feature is <https://github.com/ory/kratos/pull/2033|almost done>, it just needs some love from our side.
We are currently busy with bringing Hydra to Ory Cloud, but SMS will soon be available, feel free to subscribe to the PR.

You can currently send other communication such as confirmations, verification links and so on through SMS.
