Is it overkill to use ory hydra when the only need is to be able to authenticate first party services requesting eachother? (machine 2 machine)
If it is, what is a good alternative to authenticating first party services requesting eachother?

slight chance might need oauth for some client devices later on :thinking_face:

for service to service auth, oauth2 is an okay choice!
