Dear all, sorry to give this feedback, but I do because I would love if these issues could be fixed, and they are very easy to fix. The fuzzy search for User management in console.ory.sh doesn't work very well, if you try to look for "surname" an email like "name.surname@example.com" wouldn't appear. Also, the search bar in Permissions->Relationships was better before, now there is no fuzzy search at all and enforcing the structured search is not particularly user friendly imo 🙏

Hi Pablo, thanks for this feedback, we really appreciate it ❤️ As for the identity search, we have recently rolled out a new search backend system, that should work much better for these use cases: https://console.ory.sh/settings/advanced (Enable "New identity search interface"). We're still validating the implementation for all project configuration, but so far it's been a much improved experience. We unfortunately had to remove the relationship search, because it was being done entirely in the frontend which doesn't scale at all for larger relationship databases. We'll likely roll out the new search interface for different entities (such as relationships) within Ory as well. This is going to take a little longer, keep an eye on changelog.ory.com for updates on this.
