If you rely on Ory software as a business critical component do get a support agreement with Ory!
Support from the Ory devs is
not available as a one-off "everything is on fire, pls help now" type of deal, but only as a long-term (yearly+) support offering.
I am sure you can understand that I can't compell the team to drop everything to help out in random incidents as they happen - the Ory team can however give you 24/7 ongoing professional support - including SLAs for incidents - if it is a long-term relationship!
Plus by paying Ory maintainers and devs you ensure the long-term viability and sustainability of the project - I am sure that is something you would also appreciate if you rely on the software long-term.
I know its not always an easy conversation with your manager to convince them to pay something for "free" software - but I am happy to give you more material that helps make a business case - for example see it as an insurance that makes sure everything runs smoothly.
