Please keep in mind that many documents are done by hundreds of contributors around the globe that do not always have English as a first language so getting everyone to write in a consistent style is pretty difficult. Is your first language English? and if yes, would you be willing to invest the time and implement your suggestions. I’m happy to move this to DM if you want to discuss a plan in more detail.
