Hi team! new docs is unuseful. its totally bad. not organized, no structure, no logic. get back old documentation please. who makes it need vacation definitely.

Hey Alex, can you tell us a bit more what specifically was unuseful? the structure atm is following the diataxis framework, but still needs some work to have the full structure

Tbh I have to agree with Alex, but I kinda understand what you have going on with the docs.. Previously it was way more easier to find docs that were applicable for open-source/self hosted.. Now the docs focus on Ory cloud and you have to really go deep on many pages on many levels to understand whats for cloud and whats for self-hosted.. some stuff is shared, some is not.. and you have to push through till you glue various pages together in your head

Thanks for the feedback @acoustic-advantage-28615 We are aware of the issue and now that we have the new navigation in place will work more on the content. Part of that is to rework the self-hosted docs to make it easier to find things 🙂 In general we put everything that is specific to self-hosting only in that section https://www.ory.sh/docs/ecosystem/projects and the rest ist mostly applicable to both unless it specifically says Ory Network. But there are many documents so we might miss things and any concrete feedback helps 🙌

The last few days I'm working on my first Keto deployment, for the last few years we were using only Oathkeeper. I didn't find any clear docs in regards the "new" Keto OPL namespace configs, had to go through the Keto codebase to understand how to configure it.. as the docs contain only a guide on how to configure the namespaces on Ory Network.. On the way I found several GH issues which pointed me in the right direction, so it wasn't that bad, but i had to push through quite a lot of hours. If comparing now the Keto research with the research I had to do when integrating Oathkeeper a few years ago, I'd say the docs have gotten less helpful.. but also Slack activity(responses mostly) decreased. Personally I still believe in your self-hosted solutions, I'm just a bit sad that I observed this "negative" trend.

@magnificent-energy-493 I am completely agree with Etien. Before update navigation I think best chose is update examples for current versions of libs. Example: https://www.ory.sh/docs/keto/guides/list-api-display-objects I'm currently working on adding Keto to our project, and the examples are of little help to me. And some of your docs only have examples for the CLI, but they need to be added for ALL methods for all programming languages. At least for Go, there should be all examples.
