i am curious if when using the hosted login stuff with ory; if the custom domain can do something other than throw an error att the root url?

What would be a good result here? I also think this should be handled differently.

it shouold just redirect to either the welcome UI or the login UI depending on whether they are logged in or not

this is impediment for me as i had planned to use the hosted kratos as a stop gap; but cannot go live like that.  so now my plan is to bring up my own UI sometime in the next few days; but if those redirects went in i would not do that work this week :slightly_smiling_face:.

Thanks - yeah that is definitely not a great choice but was done due to routing limitations in our api gateway. I’ve added this to the backlog so it will receive a fix!
