is there anything I can do to help with improving the account recovery flow - having to go through the settings flow to complete the process is not going to work for our users (we’ll get support issues where they get to the settings screen, with all the options, and not know what they are supposed to do). We really want to have a hold-your-hand wizard: • Enter email • Enter code we just sent you • enter your new password • Great job! This is actually what we already have, we are migrating from a legacy IdP to Kratos
not being able to complete the flow completely in app will also be a step backwards for us

What if the user does not have a password but used social sign in? Or if the site owner disabled the password method?

yes I realise my example is specific to our use case (no social providers).. I guess what I’m asking is if there’s any way I can help improving the user experience or the flow itself, since the discussion seemed to indicate that changing how recovery works was on the cards (no timeline)
by improve I am thinking really guidance. For example, showing a subset of the settings ui, so the user doesn’t have other options but to set a password (or link a social provider)..
