Hey folks. I've been investigating ory/fosite and happened to notice that for fosite construct there is this

FormPostHTMLTemplate

that sets the template for authorization response when the request has response_mode=form_post. I can see the potential of that being an option upon init that we can provide an optional template (probably via an opts method). But currently I don't think there is a way to do that. Is there any plan to do so? If not I'm happy to drop some code to support that. Appreciate some feedback and suggestions. 🙏

Hello, I’m a user of ory/fosite. I’d like to know if the fosite should support claims request parameter on oidc validator.

I'm going through the docs and I see I can see permissions for a person per object, I can even list the objects someone has accesss to, The example of The chats. But is it also possible to query which object a person has access to with which permissions? Basically asking the open world question, what can this user do? In our current model we have some implicit permissions, especially when granting. How is this expressed in keto? Do we need to make all permissions explicit?

Hello, I'm trying to play with Ory a little bit. I have client side app where I decided to implement self-service ui for Ory and protected routes. Also I have headless server api which requires user context and must be protected with auth. 1. Is it okay if client app will directly call Kratos instance to utilize self-service? 2. Is it okay when client would need some business specific stuff it would call server api and server api would call whoami of Kratos before doing any business logic?

I have none of the above attributes, but I have secret attribute number 4: I am a busybody. So - my observation is your documentation could be split instead of by product, by theme (or by product then theme): • Ops - how to run things, do healthchecks, deploy things, configure things via env vars • Architecture - what Ory products to use in what scenarios, how to incorporate the Ory products into your own system (e.g "how to do mobile"; "how to do high availability" • Features and security concepts - e.g. "what flows do/don't we support and why", "when are we getting user migration?"

Hi I am new to Cerbos and to Ory.   I am evaluating both  platforms  to use with our ML based open-source tool we are developing. I have few questions, please help. Which product of Ory's open-source tools can I compare with Cerbos (cerbos.dev)? Among the Ory's tools, which one I can use along with Cerbos? Or,  Does Ory have a tool which can be used instead of Cerbos?

Hey folks! Just came across Ory and looking to see if it will fit my use case for a complete user solution. Trying to get a test build working with Ory cloud to see if it can replace the existing Auth0 flow I have been working with, I really don’t enjoy the idea of user based pricing 🙃 So if I can eventually get Ory dropped in as a replacement, handling frontend login and authorising to a backend then I’m ready to dive all in!

hello, this is the first time I upgrade version / code of ory oathkeeper. I see that it's not a easy process and I have to solve many conflict relating to document files ... Do we have plan to move all document files to separated repo or separated branch, for all ory products? Thanks so much.

doesn’t appear to set the

X-Forwarded-Proto

header when using TLS. Because of this the my upstream service isn’t able to construct urls with the correct protocol. I’ll see about writing bug tickets, just a bit swamped at the moment. (looks like I’m blocked on implementing a registration UI until I find a workaround)

Hey! Joining here to learn more about which Ory solution I need.

If I want to create an oidc identity provider that uses a custom authentication/login flow (in my case via an ethereum wallet), what would be a good place in the Ory ecosystem to start from? Would modifying/extending/using parts of Kratos be a good idea? Would I also need Hydra for storing the custom identities?
